Alpine Academy is a private school in Rochester Hills, Michigan, for children from one to five years old (and up to 12 years old for summer care). We have experienced, mature, and loving teachers. Each child is placed in a small group with one teacher in her own room. Every day, our mission is to find the perfect balance between play and academics. We give each child the individual attention that he needs to be successful.

Challenge Island is a STEAM enrichment program where smart and curious kids work together in teams to solve fun, hands-on “challenges” which teach them about STEAM fundamentals, as well as important success skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and much more.  We are offering 4 different 3-hour/5-day camp programs this year with exciting themes like slime & children's stories, "Islandmon" creature collecting, space exploration, and entrepreneurship.  Camps are available in 12 different Oakland County communities; see our website for full schedule and registration links.

We provide hands-on STEAM workshops for students ages 5-11 (entering grades K-5), where they work in small "STEAM Teams" of 4-6 students each, to design and build "challenges" which teach them STEAM fundamentals, cross-curricular topics, and also teamwork and success skills like creativity, critical thinking, brainstorming, and much more.  Our over 400 hours of workshops are available as in-school field trips, family night programs, summer camps, Girl Scout workshops, birthday parties, and more.

School for the Mind and Body believes that parents everywhere are looking for an educational environment that will encourage the same life skills and values that are taught in the home. Our program is based on a “concept of the week” that is integrated into four educational units – Thinking, Learning, Nutrition, and Exercise.
