Michigan's premiere performing arts center - Deborah's Stage Door!
The Deborah’s Stage Door Dancers are the Back to Back National Dance Champions of 2023. And, the DSD National Dance Champions of 2023 made their Broadway debut this past June at the Gershwin Theatre performing at the “Arts for Autism” fundraiser with the stars of Broadway.
Now in its 40th year, in a healthy, exciting family atmosphere. DSD is very proud that many former students have returned and enrolled their children as they have great confidence in our programs and benefits. Deborah's Stage Door trains pre-schoolers through adults in dance, voice, piano, guitar, acting, tumbling and cheerleading! Whether recreational or serious study, all students are welcome to learn in a healthy and exciting atmosphere.
- Our graduates have been awarded over 2.5 Million Dollars in performing arts scholarships in the last 10 years.
DSD also offers national-award winning competition dance groups, performing arts companies, ballet companies and show choirs. Many of these groups have appeared at The Michigan Thanksgiving Parade, Children's Miracle Network Telethon, Woodward Dream Cruise, Detroit Piston Half-time Shows, Disney World, Universal Studios, Showstopper American Dance Championship National Television Show, Variety International Television Show, Academy Award festivities in Hollywood, CA and Star Search, America's Got Talent, and So You Think You Can Dance! DSD students have performed at Detroit Tiger Games at Comerica Park as well.
