1. INDEPENDENCE FEST
A Local Tradition for over 25 years!
It’s our Nation’s birthday and you can celebrate it close to home. Purchase tasty goodies on-site, including many of your carnival favorites, shop local crafters and watch awesome live entertainment. Fun for the entire family, plus part of this local home-town tradition is spending time with your neighbors! Bring lawn chairs and blankets for your comfort and enjoy one of the best parts of our community, Clintonwood Park! Stay through the evening and enjoy the awesome fireworks display!
2. Bingo in the Park then Concert in the Park!
Head to Centennial Park downtown Oxford each Thursday at 5:30 to play bingo. You could win some fun prizes! All ages welcome. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks and be ready to have some fun! Concert starts at 6:30 - this week it's Dueling Pianos!

Neighborhoods of Stories
This summer Orion Township Public Library and Clarkston Independence Library have partnered up for their park story time series! Find and explore your surrounding area when we pop up in new and exciting nearby parks, entertaining the whole family with live book performances, storytelling, and silly dancing.
4. The Book Fairy Bubble Dance Party
Settle in for an enchanting story telling session with The Book Fairy and watch some magical bubble tricks. Get ready for an unforgettable hands-on bubble dance party! This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Library.
5. Music & Me with Ms. Calissa from Sing. Play. Speak.
Head to the Village at 10am Monday for a special Music & Me featuring “Stars & Stripes”! No registration required - bring a blanket or chairs and show up and have some fun!
